Kids play kitchen

Kyle found a small black entertainment center in our neighborhood sitting on a curbside marked “free.” He asked me if I thought we could use it for our house and I was like “YES!!! Bring it home.” I couldn’t wait to convert it into a kids play kitchen.

I painted one side with chalkboard paint and the top of the lower part with some white to mimic burners, knobs and a sink. I used red and blue puffy paint to mark “H” and “C” for hot and cold.

Our friend Dawn gave us a bunch of play kitchen stuff their kids aren’t using anymore.

We were very fortunate to scrap together a wonderful play kitchen inexpensively that can be used for Roger to imagine he is cooking like an adult chef.

I think it will be an awesome baby step for building his confidence in the kitchen.
